Prospect: Tinderbox

Location: Tinderbox lies around 10km south-west from Nkwe’s Kliprivier Project along strike and 15km to the south of the Everest South Platinum mine. Comprising the five contiguous farms of Welgevonden, Witpoort, Honingkloof, Kochelmanderkop and Middelkraal, this project covers in excess of 7,500ha of the southern most exposure of the eastern limb of the Bushveld.

To date the existence of the Critical Zone has been confirmed on the Northern Extents of this project area, making it the most southerly outcrop exposure on the eastern limb. A solitary drill hole to the south of this area (owing to prospecting right constraints to the north at the time of drilling) resulted in the confirmation of the pinching out of the critical zone outcrop to the south.
