Overview
Nkwe Platinum, a fully compliant BEE company is currently consolidating it’s holdings into core projects spread over both the eastern and western limb of the Bushveld complex, home of over 80% of the worlds PGE resources. Nkwe’s merger projects are the De Wildt project within the traditional Western Limb and the Garatouw Project within the fast developing Eastern Limb.
The current combined classified resource base under the control of Nkwe within these project areas is 17Moz (in situ), all of these being at relatively shallow depth of less than 1,000m below surface, with a substantial potential to add an additional 40moz to this over three projects through increased exploration. All the quoted resources commence from surface outcrops.
