Mr Maredi Mphahlele
Managing Director

Maredi holds a BSc (Engineering) in Mineral Resource Management and a Diploma in Mine Surveying from the University of the Witwatersrand. He gained considerable investment and project finance experience whilst employed as Business Analyst at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited ("IDC"). At the IDC, he worked, in teams with chartered accountants, engineers and other professionals, on feasibility evaluations of manufacturing companies and projects throughout South Africa. He also assessed applications for Asset-Based Finance. Before joining the IDC, he worked for De Beers Consolidated Mines (Premier Mine), where he was involved in ore deposit viability evaluations, mining grade optimisation and mine planning. Maredi sits on boards of various engineering, trading and mining companies, including Zytech-Valvestock (Pty ) Ltd (a subsidiary of the large US based valve company Zytech, which supplies petrochemical valves to Sasol, Engen, Caltex, Fluor Daniels etc), Klerksdorp Mining Suppliers (Pty) Ltd (supplier of consumables / screening equipment to gold, platinum and chrome mines), and Ixia Trading (a junior platinum mining company). Maredi is also a member of the Business Advisory Team that is tasked with implementing industrial, agricultural and mining businesses for the Mpahlele area in Limpopo Province in the Northern part of South Africa.

Anton (Tony) Weber, B.Eng(Min), DepMinEcon
Executive Director
Mr Weber is a mining engineer with more than 10 years' operational experience in relation to a number of commodities, including platinum within Anglo American. He has significant experience in concluding large feasibility studies in precious and base metals and the implementation of mine expansion and the upgrading of several mining projects.

Mr Mxoleli Nkuluhu
Non-Executive Director
Mxoleli is experienced in a number of fields in institutional administration and corporate governance. As a legal practitioner, he has been involved in a variety of legal matters both commercial and non-commercial. In addition to his skill in negotiation and alternative dispute resolution in general, Mxoleli has on several occasions served as an assessor on the bench within the Witwatersrand Division of the High Court.

Mr Peter Landau, LLB, B.Comm 
Executive Director & Company Secretary
Mr Landau is a corporate lawyer and advisor with Grange Consulting Group Pty Ltd having previously worked with Clayton Utz and as general counsel at Co-operative Bulk Handling. Peter is responsible for providing general corporate, capital raising, transaction and strategic advice to Grange's clients, which include numerous ASX listed and unlisted companies. Mr Landau is a Director and Company Secretary of a number of ASX listed companies with particular focus on mining, oil and gas exploration and development in Australia and Africa.

Mr Sharif Pandor
Non-Executive Director
Mr Pandor (DSE in secondary Education, University of Botswana) has community development experience spanning more than 20 years and serves on the boards of several mining and industrial companies. He is a CEO of Ikamva Investments Holdings, a company with interests in mining, property development and manufacturing. Sharif is also chairman of Genorah Resources and a director of Blue Nightingale 709 Trading. Genorah has substantial PGM and chrome interests and Blue Nightingale 709 Trading has significant interests in PGMs and Uranium.

Mr Andre' van der Merwe
Project Manager

Mr Van der Merwe has a long history of involvement in the mining industry, starting with JCI in the 1980's, and include his involvment as Regional Manager with consultancy group RSG Global and more recently SRK Consulting as Principal Geologist and Partner. Andre's previous experience in managing feasibility programs brings valuable capacity to the team at Nkwe.
